Abstract

In this research, we modified and analyzed a nonlinear mathematical model for the treatment of cancer using oncolytic virotherapy. The model is analyzed using Hartman-Grobman and linearization method. The equilibrium of the model has been found to be stable, implying that tumors cells can be reduced and even completely eradicated in finite time. The numerical simulation of the model is also performed using MATLAB R2010a which supported the analytical results. Therefore, complete recovery is possible if oncolysis is used.
