Abstract
In this paper, the parameter with the greatest impact on the transmission dynamics of corruption model among a certain populace was determined. In addition, the basic reproductive number was obtained for the corruption model presented. The parameter with the greatest impact was obtained using the computer program via the MATLAB software package for the eigenvalue elasticity and sensitivity analyses while the basic reproductive number of the mathematical model was obtained using the next generation matrix operator. This parameter was determined to assist the government of the day on how to control, minimize and possibly eradicate the rate of spreading corrupt practices among the populace. From the mathematical model of corruption presented, it was obtained that, the effective contact rate of corruption has the greatest impact with highest values obtained.
