Abstract

This paper is an effort to put forward the level of noise in liquid like water, kerosene, engine oil and also air. The circuit used Schering Bridge is very sensitive to noise and care had to be taken to earth out any noise. The transmission line and utilizing the lead screens as a path for the noise current to earth, the exercise consisted of measuring four capacitances. The data collected were used to calculate the dielectric constants of the dielectric materials.

Keywords: Air, Water, Kerosene and Engine oil.
