Abstract

In this paper we propose a new Superconvergent H^2-Galerkin method for the solution of parabolic initial value problems. The Laplace transformation method is used to transform the parabolic initial valueproblem to a two-point boundary value problem and thenH^2-Galerkin method is defined on it for the solution, Superconvergence error estimates are obtained with the use of some auxiliary functions.
