Abstract

Inverted isotropic oscillator with a  function potential is analyzed quantum mechanically using JWKB method. Analysis of the solution showed that the energy eigenvalues are discrete, leading to degenerate states.  The normalized wave function was also determined and reduced to sinusoidal form as the  function potential is reduced to zero.
