Abstract

Analytical study of MHD flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past an infinite porous plate with radiation, variable suction and heat sink is investigated. The plate is assumed to move with a constant velocity inthe direction of fluid flow while the free stream velocity is assumed to follow the exponentiallyincreasing small perturbation law.The dimensionless governing equations for this investigation are solved analyticallyusing two-term harmonic and non-harmonic functions.Numerical evaluation of the analyticalresults is performed and some graphical results for the velocity, concentration and temperature profileswithin the boundary layer are presented. Skin-friction coefficient is discussedwith the help of  a table while Nusselt number and Sherwood number are not significantly affected by the visco-elastic parameter.
