Abstract

The spin and pseudospin symmetric solutions of the Dirac equation with q-parameter Pöschl-Teller scalar and vector potentials including a coulomb-like tensor interaction term for arbitrary spin-orbit quantum number   are presented. The energy eigenvalues and the unnormalized wave functions in terms of Jacob polynomials are obtained using the Nikiforov-Uvarov(NU) method by employing Pekeris approximation to the centrifugal term.
