Abstract 

Some classes of continuous linear multistep methodsfor the solution of initial value problems in ordinary differential equations were derived in this study. For this purpose , a class of Orthogonal polynomials was constructed in the interval  [0,1] and with weight function  x x w =)( . This was employed as basis function of the approximant to the solution of the problem, for the development of the desired numerical integration scheme through collocation and interpolation approach . The resulting schemes which are of explicit hybrid forms , were implemented on some specific problems and numerical evidences show that the method is effective.
